New Cake Baker Gallery and Extras - Comments: (8)

I have added a new Cake Baker's Gallery to the site and dumped the old shitty one. After being pointed to for the 10th time a harmless XSS sploit in the old one, I figured it was time to kill it off and update it. The old one was a PHP script made about 6yrs ago now and just had to many flaws that to continue messing with. So a new gallery is installed and it is intergrated into the forum software, so it will be easy to update and has more features. All the cakes from the old ones are in it, plus I will add a bunch more tommorow that needed to be added.
I have also taken this oppertunity to finally add a non-cake section, within this gallery. It is for all the pictures without cake in them, that we have collected over the years. Some of these pictures, much like the cake ones, are pretty old, dating back 6yrs or more.
Good memories in these.

Comcast and Time Warner cable companies to start limiting internet usage. We don't normally post this type of stuff in the news here at myg0t, however this is pretty closely related issue to many of our online entertainment and social-networking lives. I don't want to turn this into a big rant of mine, I'm more curious what the users of our site and the ones who just lurk it think about this.

For the TLDR'ers, basically Comcast now admits they were "slowing down" P2P traffic, specifically BitTorrent packets. Now fearing the wrath of the FCC amidst the recent net neutrality proceedings, a consortium of cable operators are instead going to BLOCK and LIMIT the usage of the top 5-15% of heavy bandwidth consuming users.
They have already started their "tests" in certain parts of the country. I'm not trying to be a fear monger here, these tests only apply to new customers and not existing ones, but we all know if they deem their "test" successful then we will all be fucked in the end.
Would you leave your current broadband provider if they started imposing such limits on you? No more flat fee rates for internet usage? Would you leave the cable company and switch to slower but comparable broadband speeds with a phone company? These are the questions I'd like to hear the answers to. Please reply with your comments, opinions, and ideas.

I figure since Valve again overlooks another exploitable item I shall help them. Using this command will make you unmutable. Your name won't show up in playerlist so nobody will be able to mute you.
The command is:
setinfo name ""
You must use this before you connect to a server, if you use it while in a server you have to type retry in console.
This will not work on OrangeBox games so don't bother, the name system works differently.
The exploit is for CSS/DoDS/etc, whatever game uses Episode 1 as it's SDK base.

After the new update I decided to once again ruin the fun by showing how to unlock the achievements so you could join in on the fun.
Valve's new TF2 update allows the medic to become a more powerful class. If you want to unlock the achievements it isn't really hard.

LiveVideo Only, Stage6 No Longer! - Comments: (13)

Since our official myg0t endorsement of Stage6 consequently had them shutdown we may no longer use them as of Feb. 28th (Thursday). So, in order to avoid going back to JewTube who has only horrible video quality to offer, we are now going to be using LiveVideo. LiveVideo, like Stage6, is a great video sharing community proliferating its user-base at a substantial rate.
On to the details, if you are new to LiveVideo this is what they have to offer for rage video hosting:

They also recommend formatting your video for upload in .mov format at 445x334 resolution to ensure the rage video will look the best possible on their site. I have yet to experience any problems with LiveVideo. I've got great connection speeds to their site and have not had any issues with uploading videos which I cannot say the same for Stage6.
Something you fellow rage video creators might want to check out is LiveVideo Xpress, it is basically a lite version of their web-based upload manager except for some features that only it has. With LV Xpress you can upload multiple video files at once, receive a faster upload connection speed, and greatest of all, pause uploads and resume them later on. Download LiveVideo Xpress by clicking here (1Mb).
To sum it all up:
1) myg0t only uses LiveVideo for video rage posting
2) myg0t encourages everyone to use only LiveVideo for video rage posting

Due to the recently increased deletion of our posted rage videos and disabling of our members accounts on YouTube per user complaints, nudity and gore, and some type of copyright violations (?) we are encouraging all of our members and regular users to boycott the use of YouTube for video rage posting.
Obviously we expect this to have no affect on their business what-so-ever, we only wish to have our video artwork remain online and available to the public instead of being censored by fascist corporate government cock suckers.
So, as a replacement for video rage posting we plan on using Stage6 which many of you already have active accounts for them anyway. So, to sum up:
1) myg0t only uses Stage6 for video rage posting
2) myg0t encourages everyone to use only Stage6 for video rage posting
3) myg0t no longer uses YouTube for video rage posting
You may leave remaining rage videos on YouTube, but please upload all copies of old and new rage videos to Stage6 if at all possible. Thank you.

TF2: Occlusion Visualization Cheat (cvar) - Comments: (15)

This was first discovered by one of our Finnish forum members, AnAnA. It allows you to make use of the built-in Performance UI to enable visible occluders which will let you then see through walls.

Or follow these steps:
1.) Start TF2 and open the console before joining any server
2.) Enter these commands into your console:
sv_cheats 1
perfui
(SS) http://myg0t.com/cheatss/tf2/tf2cheat1668.png
3.) Enter a server, and choose "Occlusion tool" from the perfui tool's menu, then select "View occluders":

4.) You should now be able to see through walls as so:

And that's it. So far this is not detected as any type of cheat cvar (except with Detox) as several of us have been testing it with complete success.
